Intelligent, talented, dedicated, Dileesa Hunter is such a beautiful
person inside out and an amazing vocal coach. I have been doing this a
long time now and I have worked with a lot of vocal coaches over the
years. Let me just say Dileesa is by far the best. There's a lot of
coaches out there that just want to take you for a ride, spend the
majority of your lesson doing scales to avoid having to do any real
teaching (as they rake in the cash), and promise things they can't
deliver. However, the moment I did my voice evaluation with Dileesa I
knew she was the real deal. She listened to my concerns, really payed
attention to my voice, critiqued me politely but honestly, and gave me
suggestions to fix my problem areas, (not to mention she was prompt in
her video and email responses which is always a plus). From that moment
on I was hooked and knew I needed to start taking lessons consistently
from this girl. The lessons themselves have been amazing. What I
really like is that she doesn't dictate to me what we're going to do
each lesson. She asks me what I'd like to work on and whatever question
I have she is always able to pull from her wealth of knowledge and
experience and give me a clear concise answer. We've worked on
everything from breathing to mix voice to belting and so much in between
and every time I leave the lesson I always feel like I've accomplished
something. In the weeks since we've started together I have seen my
style and technique improve so much and have found that everything she
has taught me has stuck and opened my eyes to a whole new way of
singing. Dileesa has gone above and beyond sending me links to artists I
should check out, suggesting things to help me develop my own sound,
and just putting in extra time to get to know me as a person. It's so
apparent that she really loves what she does and gets validation through
helping others achieve their goals. For her It's about really sitting
down and figuring out where you want to go with your voice and then
drawing out the road map to help you get there. That is the true
marking of a great vocal coach. Who could ask for more? Thanks so much
Dileesa!

I really appreciate for the work u did for me. I was so surprised that u're so correct about all my struggles. I started to practice for the first time today, although i couldn't totally switch my voice to wut u did in the video but i think it already helped out a lot after practicing...it's really important that i could find the middle point to join my chest voice to the head voice...
U're really a good teacher and i think u really teaches with heart. U got a great and amazing voice... i'll practice for sometime first, when i get to another stage, i hope that we could work further again... It's really so cool that u teach on the youtube so that many people could share the techniques.. Chita Yu |

I took vocal lessons from several vocal coaches, all trained but it was not until working with Dileesa Hunter that I was able to get over my fears and the many issues I was facing vocally. Unlike most vocal coaches, Dileesa is able to see and feel vocally what is going on with her clients, she knows if your breathing is off or whether it's more a problem of positioning. A master vocalist herself in Gospel, Classical and pop music, she is well over qualified vocally, as well as intellectually having made music her focus all throughout her academic career, to school anyone in the art of singing. if i could give her ten stars I would, however I guess I have to settle for 5 ;)
