Dileesa Hunter

Dileesa Hunter is a professional singer and vocal coach located in Atlanta, GA.  Born in Manchester, England to British parents and Jamaican grandparents, Dileesa has always been exposed to different vocal and musical styles. As a young child, her family moved to the United States where she began performing in school plays, and local talent shows. Dileesa soon joined her grandfather’s gospel band where she toured her home state of Florida singing and recording Country Gospel Music.

She offers international vocal consulting, coaching, training, producing, and artist development. She also records and tours with several recording artists and performs in various stage plays. Holding a Bachelors Degree in Music, with a concentration in Voice, Dileesa Hunter’s vocal repertoire includes Gospel, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Barbershop Quartet and Opera. Married to Kendall Hunter, an accomplished singer, songwriter, producer, and Stellar and Gospel Choice Awards winner, Dileesa assists Kendall in recording and arranging vocals. In June of 2012, Dileesa became the first winner of the Mary Mary Singing Contest and won a VIP trip to the Essence Music Festival and a meet- and - greet with Mary Mary.

Combining her education and her natural vocal abilities, Dileesa Hunter has created two practical and easy-to-use audios called, “Vocal Quick Start” and “Complete Training Program”. The Vocal Quick Start program is an introductory series designed to prepare and train students’ voices to achieve breath control, resonance, vibrato, and many other singing techniques. The Complete Training Program gets her students to truly discover their vocal ability. As a master vocal coach and singer, Dileesa Hunter's commitment to vocal excellence places her students at the forefront of the music industry.
