This is the day that the country recognizes a great man, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In honor of him and what he stood for, we wish him a very Happy Birthday. This week’s focus will be on artists and how they use their gift for good. John Legend is a mainstream artist who does just that. With poverty being such a global issue, he stepped up to the plate to battle it with The Show Me campaign. Through this initiative, he battles global poverty with creative solutions. In a song he wrote, called “Show Me,” John Legend spoke on different issues asking the question why. Using his gift, he designed and offered a solution. So, whatever you decide to do in life, use your talents for good to change the world. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and John Legend did just that. So can you.
