Typically, you’re at your vocal in your late 20’s or during your 30’s. Your chance of getting to this point is increased with vocal lessons. I saw an award show last night where one act should have been a prime example of this, but it was clear that wasn’t the case. Many of you want to be on stage constantly in front of your fans until you’re old and gray. That’s definitely possible, but you’ve got to take the proper steps. Barbara Streisand, Patti Labelle, and others are still doing what they love because they have vocal coaches helping to keep their voice in tip top shape. At this point, I urge you to make a decision about your vocal career. Where has it been? Where is it now? Where do you want it to go? If you’re serious about singing, stop making excuses and get vocal lessons. They’re affordable and necessary. Remember, this is your life. You are responsible for your success. Since this is supposed to be your passion, go all out. Do everything in your power to be at your vocal best to get the vocal results you desire! Album Campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/dileesahunter Add Comment Opening up is difficult, especially to people you don’t know. You have no idea if they’ll judge, what they will say, how they will look at you....etc, etc, etc. As a performer, it’s important to be transparent and open while singing. Your audience will feel what you feel. It’s ok to be emotionally open while singing. Focus on the lyrics. What type of story are they telling? What picture are they painting? Focus on that, and you’ll take your audience on a journey. When people hear a song, they normally continue listening because it makes them feel a certain way. Maybe the song reminds them of something that they went thru.....If you don’t allow yourself to go there, they won’t feel that way, and you’ll fail to establish an emotional connection. Without that, your shows will dwindle, your music won’t sell, and you’ll be singing in vain. So, focus on the vocals, stage presence, & BE VULNERABLE! Album Campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/dileesahunter Many singers feel like they’re good enough. They feel vocal lessons and coaching are an extra expense. It’s a common misconception. On the contrary, these are career investments. They prepare you for live performances, auditions, studio recordings, and other events. In addition, vocal injuries can be prevented. While many of us have became great at our craft through natural talent and imitation, technique fine tunes your instrument. Unlike a broken guitar, you can’t buy another one, but you can invest to create your best voice. Book your vocal session today at http://www.dileesahunter.com/voice-lessons.html |
