Becoming a studio singer isn't as hard as you think.  Many engineers and producers are in dire need of professional who can grasp the concept and deliver the vision.  My best advice is to introduce yourself.  Do a google search and make a list of studios in your area. Find out who the point of contact is.  Then, send an email or make a visit to introduce yourself.  Let them know who you are and what you do.  Just like a job search, be prepared to give them a resume.  If you don't have a resume, begin working on one, and also, get your references together.  By doing these simple tasks, you could help someone launch their career or even save someone their job.  Keep your vocals polished and together to make sure you deliver your best voice possible.  Happy studio singing!
