Every now and then I get an opportunity to watch Glee.  I was able to catch the episode where they did Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.”  I have to say I was very impressed with the amount of emotion that was expressed not just vocally but on the face as well.  Watch the video with and without audio.  Whenever you sing your face and vocals should match in regards to emotion.  She does just that.

A singer’s career begins in front of people.  Someone heard you sing and liked it.  From there, more  people   hear and like it.  Then, before you know it, you’ve got more and more people wanting to hear you sing.  Many of my studentshave great voices, but before vocal lessons and coaching, they lack confidence.  Their posture and body language screams nervousness on stage.  Well, your fans can sense that.  If you’re giving that energy, they will feed off of it.  So, make your shows and performances better with confidence.  Vocal lessons and coaching help you build  that.  When you know you’re singing your best, hitting all your notes, and exercising proper technique, confidence is easily displayed. Once that confidence is established, you will command the stage and your audience.  Captivating them means building a bigger fan base, playing more gigs, and performing across the world.
